A Deeper Look at Spiral Dynamics Integral

This is a unique and rare opportunity to work with Dr. Don Beck, the major developer of Spiral Dynamics during the last 30 years—who was mentored by the founding theorist, Clare Graves.

Spiral Dynamics is an important and far-reaching topic for all professionals and can be seminal for coaches. Consider the impact of knowing what is behind these ideas:

  • People value different things because they think in different ways, and they think in different ways because the mixes of the value memes in their brains are different
  • It is not, “how do you motivate people?” But rather, “How do you relate what you are doing to natural motivational flows?”
  • Organizations should be constructed from both the “top down” and “the bottom up to link functions, intelligences and decision structures that the more complex new problems will demand.

Dr. Don Beck & Mike Jay
A Deeper Look at Spiral Dynamics Integral:

Part 1: 'Deep Systems' Introduction for Coaches, Consultants, Mentors, and Therapists
Part 2: Differentiation & Dimensionalization of Meme Density Using Spiral Dynamics in Change

This media rich, intensive, and very active full day workshop experience will highlight the Spiral Dynamics Integral framework, based on the seminal work of Professor Clare W. Graves, and now in use around the world. Together we will go beneath the surface to explore the Deep Decision-Making Priorities; and how they express themselves in codes, with specific content, and levels of density and ego involvement. Participants will be given an opportunity to map their own position on this developmental track, and that of several of your clients. Further, attendees will be introduced to the dynamics of change in eight different variations model, with the wisdom to know which change variation is appropriate with different people in a myriad of situations. As a result, you will be able to guide and assist your clients to change, either horizontal shifts, or vertical exploration.

Come and experience both People & Cultural Dynamics since none of us are islands all off to ourselves, we are part of larger wholes. We move in and out of tribes, roaming "gangs", ordered safety zones, highly competitive strategic enterprises, and even focus on feelings and affiliations to live off of the abundance from our successes.  What is next for our culture? How can leaders contribute to the health and well being of their neighbors, colleagues, communities, professions and even entire countries.

Dr. Don Beck and Mike Jay have trained thousands of leaders in cultures around the world: Canada, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, India, Russia, Palestine and Israel, the Netherlands, UK, Denmark, Germany, etc. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and engage a complex body of material, delivered in a user friendly and practical fashion.

Dr. Don Beck has been developing, implementing, and teaching the evolutionary theory of Spiral Dynamics for more than three decades. Beck has elaborated upon the work of his mentor, Clare Graves, to develop a multidimensional model for understanding the evolutionary transformation of human values and cultures. Dr. Beck is cofounder of the National Values Center in Denton, Texas, and CEO of the Spiral Dynamics Group, Inc. www.spiraldynamics.net
